Prague on Tv

Just watched a tv prog on Prague, was in awe of the architecture, and Charles Bridge looked fantastic, it did mention Prague beach, but just read some old posts, and it seems there is not a beach, just sand put down by the riverside, the Tv presenter did not mention this, would be a shame for visitors that wanted to combine sights %26amp; sea...but then you would hope. they have done their research.!

The Restaurant La Degustation was shown, the chef there cooked beef toungue with mash, looked horrible, so will not try that...when asked what was %26#39;his%26#39; favorite Cz dish, he replied beer. lol

if you aske me it is stupid to go almost literaly to the center of Europe and expect to find a real beach ! Of anyone wants sights and sea go to Greece ;D

BTW although i haven`t eaten beef tonque in Prague i can say it`s not as bad as it looks.

I%26#39;m sure anyone wanting a beach would do there homework first... but the presenter on this prog, did make it sound as if the beach as nearby..not a good presenter at all..

Think it was seeing the texture of this meal that put me off, the potato was puree, a sort of young childs meal..
