Trip report on first time trip to Prague......

Well the day finally arrived and we set off for Prague, we arrived Thurs afternoon and were met by the taxi who took us to our hotel, we were not dissapointed...ate at the Chodov center before retiring to the bar for the evening.

Fri am all up bright and early good breakfast bought tickets for travel ....excellent map of transport system is all we used and cannot fault transport all connections good. Got out at Muzeum and just walked , down to the bottom and left !!! miles and miles we just saw so much. Picked up lunch in Tesco how different and fab that was, walked to bridge and ate lunch on boat trip...we did use guys in sailor suits and really enjoyed the journey but we did get heafty discount !!! visited the museum and the church next door ..stunning.

Saturday we had a late start as we were going to the fountain in the eve. Travelled further on got out followed map of where things were and just walked, browsed through the shops, sat by the river for lunch , went and saw the clock and went on the roof terrace for a cocktail WOW...expensive but you pay for the effect and it was what we wanted to do...continued to walk ..over the bridge and later found nice place for plate of pasta before heading to the fountain on the tram..such a fab eve, water show was great and to travel by the river when all lit up was good.

Sun am checking out and again travel into Prague with our cases , all on wheels so not a prob..got out at Muzeum again walked down but then went right at bottom , walked and saw so much had a chezk lunch before heading towards the airport , everything was so easy to get and we all so enjoyed ourselves, 6 older ladies all came home happy. stayed at the Euro Hotel Praha lovely big clean.

on Saturday evening,if so how long was the

performance please ?

I am in Prague in 2 weeks and make it a%26quot;must do%26quot;

after reading a few reviews on it.

Hi ....

we went to the fountain show it starts every hour so the show was about 3/4 hour but it was worth seeing. Yes the Hotel u prince we went up onto the roof terrace and had cocktails. We saw the municipal house, gosh that an amazing building had a quick nosey...

Must try and find this hotel the terrace view looks great, would love to have a dessert %26amp; cocktail there, thats if they would serve us a dessert, if we had not taken a main meal there.?

Rosie you cant miss it ,its on the square almost facing the clock ,you can have what you want to eat and drink in there,walk in the front door head to the back and get in the lift take it up to the roof terrace ,you then have to walk up about 10 steps to get into the bar,once in walk through and out up to the terraces.
