Can someone give me information on this? We are going to be in Prague on Friday and my husband just mentioned that he would like to see this.
Thank you.

Once you arrive at the Bone Church in Kutna Hora, you will need no more than 20 minutes to visit as it is really small.
One of my friends insisted that we visit Kutna Hora when we was in Prague just to see that. Naturally, I was very disappointed with it.
Spent 2 hours waiting for a train in the main station in Prague (which is very unpleasant), got into KH late in the afternoon and did not bother going into the main town as I was that fed up. We would%26#39;ve needed to return to Prague soon otherwise we would%26#39;ve returned very late to Prague. Shame as there seems to be many things to see in the main town:(

There is absolutely no need to wait for 2 hours at the station - there are express trains at 0956 and 1156, and back again at 1459, 1659 and 1859 - all these trains take an hour.
If you find that you have, for whatever reason, 2 hours to spare at Prague main station, the centre is 5 minutes away by metro.
Kutna Hora is a UNESCO world heritage site and both the town (particularly the magnificent cathedral) the Sedlec ossuary are must sees. http://www.sedlecossuary.com/Photos.html

We were all hungover and tired on our second day in Prague. We did not plan this trip in advance and went on the spur of the moment. I would have enjoyed KH more if I did more planning in advance.
My friend only wanted to go there for the bone church as he knew it was there not knowing what else was there. I would go there again knowing that there is so much to see.
I%26#39;ve learnt my lesson and that is to do more planning/homework before going anywhere else now.

The very first time I went to Prague from Brno in 1992 to see Czechoslovakia (as was) v. England I did something similar - I got back to the station after the match, had a wander around to the top of Wenceslas Square, thought big deal and waited two hours for the train back to Brno. This was after midnight and it was during the Bosnian War so there were loads of refugees and it really was not a pleasant place to be, not least for the poor families who had nowhere else to go - today is a paradise in comparison!
Needless to say, the next time I went was with friends who showed me around the city properly ...

I just saw that it is not open on Sunday. Maybe we%26#39;ll take a trip there on Friday.
Thanks again for your help.
