Czech bakeries

We will be arriving in Prague on 10-2 and, being of Czech heritage, we want to sample the Czech goodies like our grandmas made. We are staying in an apartment in Old Town and wondering if any are nearby.

There is a bake shop called Gourmand on Dlouha just 20 metres from the tip of the Old Town. I usually start my day with an espresso piccolo there and a nice croissant that cost no more than 100 ckc to complete my breakfast.
