Hotel Maximillian Nov 7th to 10th 2009, ridiculously cheap!

Hi,

I%26#39;ve just booked for these 3 nights at the hotel maximillian through the website reservetravel.com and it only cost me 72 euros rather than around 250-300 as i see on other websites. I have printed out my receipts and everything. If they realise their error can i get away with it?

Also for this hotel you book a room per night not per person per night. There are 2 of us but nowhere have i said it is for 2 on the form as there wasn%26#39;t anywhere to put it. It does say on one of my printouts:

All rates, unless stated otherwise, are based on single or double occupancy.

It does say guests are responsible for extra adult charges but there will be two of us in a double room.

Any advice appreciated, and also go book it as well whilst you still can!

The price you have got is good and seems about right 230-300 is a bit excessive, the price is per room and not per person, its a good idea to print out all your receipts also if they ask if you want to pay in Euros or Korunas say Korunas be it Credit card or cash as they can charge their own exchange rates.

No That is 70euros in total for 3 nights. it is about 17 euros per night

I would be very wary of this offer it is ridiculously low,I have had a look at the site and it doesnt give a price just a phone number to ring.

Look at these other sites , the prices they are quoting are far more realistic.

Agree with TORII. €23.30 for the hotel of this class, quality and location, too good to be true. Must be an error unless they are doing some sort of celebratory promotion but no sign of it. I went to the site you mention and you know what. It doesn%26#39;t give the rates for Maximillian like for others. Instead it says to call (800 ...) . There is a Promotional Code 64. Is that how you got the rate? Or did you see the rates already on the page?

No I got the rates from the website. I actually went through skyscanner, and it redirected me to the website. Price isn%26#39;t there now though. I know its too good to be true but my question is if i have paid the deposit, thus entering into the agreement, do they have to let me have it at that price? I havent heard anything from them since I booked so I%26#39;m hoping I can show up and pay that price.

If you have it all in writing you shouldnt have any problem ,if you havent I would either try and get your deposit back or change hotels.

Hi salsoul

If you are using a generic booking website instead of directly with the hotel, I would always email the hotel themselves directly to confirm they have received your booking.

Tell them who you booked with, the reservation / comfirmation number and what you booked (double room etc). If you want, you can also ask them to confirm th price.

That way, there will be no surprises when you turn up at the hotel.
