How and what is the best way to get to Prague airport?

We%26#39;ll arrive at Prague from Budapest stay few days then fly back to US from Prague. We%26#39;ll be staying at Hotel Seifert (Konevova 8, Praha 3), is there any direct/convient way to airport except taxi? Could someone familar with Prague and its public transportation give me some adivices. Also how much budget per day in Prague? (our hotel is pre-paid).

Thanks in advance for help!

Both of your questions are very common ones in this forum!

Green line A, direction Dejvicka end of line, as you exit, the bus stop is right in front of you, same side as the park and across the street from the diplomat hotel, there is a bus stop sign in red and an airport sign so you cant miss it, then get bus 119 to Ruzyne airport, bus stops at T3 first, bus takes 20 mins at 20 min intervals, allow 1 hour for whole journey and you cannot go wrong.

Thanks so much for the information.

Our flight is 9:30am, that means we%26#39;re better to be in airport by 7:30am. Where can I check out when is the earliest metro and bus #119 schedule?

Thanks again!

I asked this questions before and I was told that weekdays Prague metro starts every early. The first subway runs at 4:30 AM and Tram runs a little earlier. Just so you can gauge as to what time you should start your trip back here is my time line from my last trip. I stayed in Praha 1 and my flight out of Prague was 8:50. I left my apartment at 6 AM and walked toward Staromestka subway station, carry 1 back pack and 1 small luggage(carry-on). I got to the subway around 6:15 AM and the subway arrived right away. From Staromestka to Dejvicka is only 3 stops so I arrived at 6:25. In no time I was upstairs waiting for the 119 bus. The wait was short and while you wait you can always get coffee or breakfast at some of the take-away stand/kiosk that line up by the bus stop. The queue is very short and everybody seemed to have a seat, at least when I went. The bus swing by at 6:30 and we were at the airport at 6:50. So door to door, from the old town, factor in luggage and baggage, you can be at the airport anywhere between 30 to 45 min if you stay between Praha 1 to 5.

We used Chris at Prague Airport Shuttle when we arrived and found his rates very reasonable and we didn%26#39;t worry about being ripped off. There were four of us, four pieces of luggage and a wheelchair.

KingslandKat, Could you provide more detail info about this shuttle you%26#39;ve used? Instead of arriving airport to hotel, we%26#39;re in the direction %26quot;to airport%26quot;, does the shuttle pick up us from hotel? Thanks!
