I am wondering whether it is worth buying a Prague Welcome Card for my 4-day stay in October (first time in Prague). Does it offer good value?

hi been to prague a few times and never used anything like this,
i looked up toris link and it seems like a good idea but it seems it is putting you under pressure to visit everything on it,
prague should be enjoyed at your own pace if you can, theres some stuff on this list that is probably not worth paying to get in to at all.
most of the good things are free to wander around and when you come across something you want to see it wont break the bank to go in or not.
it all depends do you want the whole guided tour thing.
if your staying any where central you will be able to walk to everywhere so this will cut out using transport.
i suppose it really depends on what you really want to see while your there.
going myself again in october.cant wait

I agree with the above - passes are pretty much universally poor value for money, whether they be for public transport, museums, whatever. They are a cash cow for the issuing authority as they count on people not using them to the maximum - only a minority of people will do so, despite their initial intentions.

Thanks, Philpotno7 and GCEK, for your advice.
