adventure tour suggestions

does anyone hve a suggestion for an %26quot;adventure%26quot;-type tour operator in this region? We prefer smaller groups -fewer than 20 persons, nicer accomodations and meals. scott b

How far do you want to venture?

The caves near Brno are excellent for an adventure and there is an underground river with boat trip, 400-foot deep abyss and excellent walking, good accommodation and excellent, hearty food at proper prices.

No need for a tour operator - you can do it all yourself, except for the guided tours in the caves, which are open year-round.

It is easily reachable by train 2.5 hours from Prague, either direct to Blansko on the early train, or via Brno, which is 20 minutes away by train. For times see www.idos.cz (subject to change from December).

GCEK- thanks for the tip. Sounds like a blast. What we are really after is an all-inclusive type tour, 7-10 days, hiking/biking/etc. any ideas? sbus

How about this one? http://www.topbicycle.com/index.htm

There are plenty of tours on offer here -

I would recommend South Moravia as it is perfect cycling country, and it is wine country as well so you can relax in the evenings with excellent local wine (not during the day, though - that would be illegal :) )
