Just had coofee with a friend who is now thinking of going to Prague in March, after reading a travel book, she is confused and so am i.!! Is a heller coin the same as a halare coin? and what is the lowest value coin in Prague.? thxs

worry not ,you will not see any Hellers.even if some things are priced with heller, prices will be rounded up or down to the nearest czk.The lowest value coin you will see will be 1 czk.

Haler or Halir (halere or halire in plural) is 1/100 of Czech crown, but coins are no longer valid. lowest coin is 1CZK. Rounding is used when price contains halire. There is no law how to do rounding it is up to shop. Some shops using regular mathematic model when price 3.5 CZK = 4CZK some shops do rounding for customer ie. 3.5CZK = 3CZK
