Prague Streets

Are many streets in Prague cobbled, i like to wear heeled shoes in the evenings, and don%26#39;t want to fall on my butt.. so was hoping a lot of footpaths were flat !!!

I would strongly suggest that you wear flats and save your heels for inside your hotel room. :-D

I agree. Even with flats, some of the streets are a little tricky. I took a tumble this summer wearing flat shoes, but I also have a really bad ankle, which was part of the issue.

Top of our packing list was flats !!!

beautiful cobbles everywhere roads and pavements ...have a fab time ...we really enjoyed...

I have never worn high heels in my life, but if for whatever reason I were to start, Prague is not the place that I would choose to do it.

You just wait untill you see the local young ladies and the height of heels they wear,I dont know how they do it ..years of practise I suppose ,I have even seen them wearing stiletto boots in the snow!I have great admiratation for them!

Torre oh to be 16 again.!!!

It never ceases to amaze me how the ladies in high heels manage to avoid the cracks between the cobbles, that%26#39;s how we travellers can identify the locals we wear flatties and they wear heels! Love the way the dislodged cobbles are just kicked into the sidewalk and gaping holes all over, guess that is why we love and return to the city year after year.

I agree there is deffinately a knack to wearing them ,I have tride a couple of times and managed ok...but would not wear them in the snow.
