can anyone confirm venue and kick off time . plus the worry is if i can get to olomouc/prostejov after the game by train
? thanks

It will be played at Letná (otherwise known as the AXA stadion), where Sparta Praha play. Going by previous games kick-off will be at 8.00 pm.
No problem getting to Olomouc - there is a direct train at 0009, arriving at 0251 You will have to wait around a bit for the connection to Prostějov, though - that goes at 0445, arriving at 0515. You could probably walk it quicker!

I had to laugh--not being a football fanatic but a travel on, I wondered who in the world was wanting to compare destinations like Northern Ireland and the Czech Republic?? apples and bananas!??
|||
Maybe you should get yourself down to the game - the Czechs are highly fair weather fans so there should be plenty of tickets available (the storm clouds are brewing...)

thanks for the advice gcek. i would prefer to buy the tickets in the uk though online, czech fa would be the best bet would it?
letna? is at the end of a metro line i think to?

Did anyone get back to you on this? I%26#39;m afraid I don%26#39;t know where to get tickets on-line, but I reckon that the NI fans might even outnumber the home fans, and will certainly be more noisy. If you are in Prague a couple of days before just pop up to the stadium which is easily reachable by tram - the stop is called %26#39;Sparta%26#39; look it up here Českomoravský fotbalový svaz
If you want to get your bearings, if you are standing on Old Town Square, look down Pařížská street (the long boulevard with the posh shops on it) and you will see what looks like a massive metronome on the hill at the end - the stadium is behind there.
They should also be available on the day - I can%26#39;t see this one being sold out. The way things are going at the moment they wouldn%26#39;t even be able to see out against Slovakia...
Good luck!

You will not have a problem getting tickets on the day and a lot cheaper than if you buy online from a agency.

Where will you be staying,we can then tell
you the best public transport options to and
from the game ?
|||
Sorry - I posted the wrong link above idos.dpp.cz/idos/ConnForm.aspx?tt=pid%26cl=E5
for public transport connections
|||
I must have been half-asleep when I wrote that - of course it should be %26#39;couldn%26#39;t even sell out against Slovakia%26#39; :)

it looks like the best option after the game is going to be the train at midnight to olomouc from prague after the game, and then a taxi to prostejov.
any suggestions for alternatives please?
i still carnt find what time kick of is ???
