I don%26#39;t think I can help you with your diet, but places will be open on Xmas day in tourist parts of Prague, and your hotel will provide food as normal. The Czech celebrate Xmas eve as a special family day not Xmas day.

thank you for your reply it does help some.

It`s been some time since i`ve been there for christmas , maybe i`m not remembering right
You may have problems on Christmas eve. Many restaurants are closed If you plan ahead you won`t have a problem. Your best bet will be in the tourist area but even there finding an open restaurant for dinner won`t be easy.

The main holiday day for Xmas in Prague is the 24th of December. The 25th is generally also a holiday but, there will be more places open and more people around. .
If you put Christmas Day in the above search box it will bring up some posts that may help you.
If you are thinking of going out for a meal you may find many restaurants are closed from 24th until 27th and those that do open in the evening often have special Chistmas meals. The Czech traditional christmas meal consists of carp and potato salad, and it is not eaten at lunchtime on Christmas day, but in the evening on Christmas eve ,
you probably wouldn%26#39;t have a hope of walking into a restaurant on Christmas day or Boxing day without a reservation so try to eat your main meal as a late lunch,

... your diet restriction will cut down your options at the best of times, and at Christmas even more so. They can be a bit funny about serving just vegetables! But there is no shortage in the supermarkets (although they will have restricted Christmas hours as well - you might need to stock up a bit beforehand)

me and my friends, we usually go to the restaurant Les Moules
you can get delicious seafood, this is a perfect lunch , if you are on diet..

I think it is a different sort of diet - as Prague is so far from the sea it wouldn%26#39;t be my first choice of dining, unless you want a Fat Duck experience :)
I%26#39;m a bit of a pork knee and goulash traditionalist... (but not carp - even I might be persuaded to eat seafood in Prague at Christmas if there was a choice between the two !!)
