With options of 0,5 liter, or 0.33 and a even liter of Lager... How do I ask for which one I want please?
Also if there is an outdoor seating area is it rude to go to the bar and order, then take drinks outside (ie do they like to charge extra for that)?

They will automatically bring a half litre by default, and will continue to bring them until you tell them not to bring any more.
If you are sitting outside they will come to you - no need to go inside. The beer master will usually only listen to the waiter/waitress anyway.
If you want a small beer, just say %26#39;malé pivo, prosím%26#39;. A litre isn%26#39;t so common, and isn%26#39;t really the done thing - there%26#39;s not much point, anyway.

I would like to know how to order a litre though please... as I will be doing so with my meal in Novomeststky Pivovar (for some in house unpasturised beer yum!)
Other than that will be 0.5 so sorted there :)

Ask for a %26#39;tuplák%26#39; or a %26#39;litr%26#39;.
%26#39;Dám si tupláka%26#39;
It may be that they don%26#39;t have one - not all places have them - usually only in places frequented by Germans and British.

Thanks. Only after one in the place I mentioned, as they brew their own beer. Politer than me pointing on the menu. Plus a great photo opportunity as friend is an former brewer and I%26#39;ve brewed my own in the past :)

According to their menu they serve litres http://www.npivovar.cz/napojovy-listek.php (top one on the list) - a bit on the pricey side, but they have them :)

Yes I know. Hence the question (as felt silly pointing to the menu last time). Been there before and the beer is wonderful!
