while built mid 1980s as a leading hotel from the soviet era it has been updated and found the room and bathroom as good as a very decent marriott
also the business center on 22 floor has 3-4 computers free of charge
the folks working there were all very cheery helpful when I had questions and a pleasure to interact with
only drawback is if you use the metro to go to the old town area it is easy inbound as the tracks are at ground level with nearby hotel
on the return trip though you are on other side of tracks and must DESCEND about 33 steps then ascend the same number to get back to to hotel level

Perhaps you could do a review of the hotel in the review section of TA ,the information you give maybe helpfull to others who are thinking of booking this hotel.

never stayed there but have been in a couple of times to play 10 pin in the Beer %26amp; Bowling bar there.
Staff were very friendly and the food was great and pretty reasonably priced.
I can honestly say it was the best Steak sandwich I had had in a very long while.

The hotel was called The Forum when first opened, and perhaps the best hotel at the time. But lots of the decoration was a job lot shades of brown! Then it was sold to a consortium with Libyan connection and put on the US banned list. American citizens were required not to stay there, the the hotel would not accept Amex cards. But that%26#39;s all in the past!
It has a nice pool on the top floor with great views, a bowling alley in the basement, a casino, and various restaurants and a coffee shop which is to be recommended.
Glad they did a refurb, it was certainly becoming very tired! A good hotel on Vysehrad metro line.
