We have about an hour after our arrival in the international terminal/Prague and will need to go to the terminal for our flight to Kosice at 7:15 AM. Will we find a money exchange open inside the arrivals departure? (Not after passport control) I would doubt that we pass through passport control but I may be wrong. Prefer an %26quot;exchange%26quot; vs. ATM at this point. In case we miss it will there be an exchange at the Kosice airport? Thanks.

Why do you want to use an exchange office? It is probably the most expensive way of changing money that I can think of. Also, what are you going to change your money into? The Czech Republic%26#39;s currency is Czech Crowns, whereas in Košice (Slovakia) they have Euros. If you change your money into Euros in Prague you will be paying double (very high) commission to change into Czech Crowns and then into Euros. Goodness knows how much you would be losing that way. Just wait until you get to Košice and use the ATM there. There will be an exchange office in Košice, but again - the commission rates are very high.
If you are on a connecting flight then I don%26#39;t think you will go into the arrivals lounge anyway, and as Prague airport is one of the most expensive in Europe, I don%26#39;t recommend that you spend too much while you are there!

I guess I assumed that Prague used Euros. My mistake.
Yes we will wait until we arrive in Kosice. Thanks for your answer.

GCEK if you think pragu is one of the most expensive airports in Europe I think you have to Check out
Oslo International Airport:)
They far exeed the pricees of Prague.
For the price you pay for a meal and a beer in Prague airport, you wouldent even get a beer in Oslo.
You pay about 11e for a pint..

Well - it is not far behind - it used to be about 10 Euros, but now %26#39;only%26#39; about 3.5 (for 0.33) after many complaints.
OK then - %26#39;one of the%26#39; most expensive airports in Europe :)
