Non Duty Free Cigarette Prices

I will shortly be travelling around MID/EASTERN Europe arriving from the UK.

Visits include Prague,Vienna,Budapest,Sofia and Bucharest plus stopover in Amsterdam.

As all travel is within the EEC which of the above Countries sell the cheapest genuine quality brands ie Dunhill or Rothmans etc.

I am guessing it will not be Vienna.

Anyone got an idea on this one ?

Thanks

without doing any research I guess that Bulgarian or Romanian cigarettes will be the cheapest, but you are only allowed to bring 200 into the UK. I expect it is only checked if you are flying directly into the UK, not sure about other countries customs policies.

i,m not sure which is the cheapest but although czech republic has been in the eu for many years ,it has only been possible to bring the eu limit of 16 cartons into the uk for less than 1 year now .yes i know its not a strict limit but providing you can satisfy customs that the 16 cartons are for your own personal use then you shouldnt have any problems.nd i suggest having only 1 brand and a single pack and a lighter.the quality brands are approx 2 pound 75 pence a pack, but there are other good brands like the brand i smoke Viceroy which cost 2 pounds a pack

and no amsterdam or vienna will not be the cheapest

Thanks for that
