Hi there, just wanted a rough idea from people that have been to prague on how much spending money to take, was looking to take about £150 pounds for three days. Is this realistic?? Bearing in mind my accomodation has been paid for and includes breakfast and I won%26#39;t be drinking but will be checking out the clubs/bars in prague and also sticking to mainly veg food (im a bit of a fussy meat eater lol). Basically money will be for transport, sightseeing and food and the odd souvenir.
Thanks for the help :)

That should be absolutely fine.

I would say that would be plenty presuming you are talking about public transport ,the only thing that may be an extra is if they charge to go into the clubs, perhaps one of the locals could tell you and if so how much.

You will also have to take into consideration in your daily budget what you will have to pay to go to the fountains that you asked about in your other post. Also I presume £150 is per person and not for both of you?

Hi Torii, yes thats right 150 would be for each us, thanks for the help everyone. :)

yes i think your budget is about right.i was last in Prague in May and spent roughly that amount(£50) per day, lived very well and had quite a few drinks ,bought souvineers etc.did,t go to any clubs but visited a few sights and spent a fair bit of time and money at the beer festival.also did a couple of day trips by train to Plzen and Benesov and that also included entrance to a brewery and to Konopiste castle .
transport is relativly cheap and a day ticket (24hours) for the transport system is only 100czk,about £3.50,a bargain for someone used to london transport prices.

Thanks Uncle Gus for the advice, sounds like I should be ok, even with the cost of sights etc

We are group of 22 males who will be in Prague
for 4 nights at the end of Sept..Hotel bb and airport transfers are already paid.
When i broused websites about Prague on pubs, restaurant, discos, river boat trips ect ect i noted in their menues that food and drinks are quite expensive.I am sure one need more then 100 euros a day as spending money to have a good and enjoyable holiday.
Hope i will manage with 550 euros as then i have to use my visa credit card lolololol
Looking foward to our visit to Prague
Good evening to you all

Of course it depends where you go. If you want to spend that much, then you are welcome to do so :)

You will find much cheaper places when getting there. Becouse only the most expensive resturants and pubs have web pages. The lockal good stuff you have to find when u get there

Exactly, and the vast majority of the best places won%26#39;t even take visa/credit cards anyway (cash only).
At c. 85 cents - 1 euro a beer and c. 5 euros for a very decent meal, you are going to struggle to spend over 100 Euros a day unless you stay in the tourist areas.
