Iam heading to Prague with my girlfriend in October, and was wondering where the areas for good cheap beer are. And restaurants. Is there any roof top bars in central Prague.
Cheers

Cheap beer you will find everywere, just keep away from wenclas. If you enter www.experienceprague.com they have a list of good resturants. But do not follow their bar guide, it shows mostly expensive places. And try joe`s bar if the basement is open. Its on the small side of the brigde. a few houndred meters to the left.

hi always hit these couple of bars when in prague,
hard rock cafe just of the bottom of the square.
sherlocks bar.http://prague.tv/prague/nightlife/cocktail-bars/sherlocks-pub-2.http://prague.tv/prague/nightlife/bars/2682
bloody freddys.
and also the jama bar.http://www.jamapub.cz/en/
this bar is just down the street from the irish bar rocky o reillys and good food but a bit pricey. rockys is manily used as a good meeting point for irish/english when in prague but to be warned prices as dear as back home and lacks atmosphere.http://www.rockyoreillys.cz/.
any idea what area you are staying in to give a better idea what bars are near you?

Again cheers for the info.
We are staying on Mezibranska Street, just beside the muzeum underground. Do you have idea what T.G.I fridays is like in Prague.
Thanks

Just like any other TGI Fridays - honestly, you might as well stay at home...

tgi is overpriced, had the misfortune to end up there last year and did not enjoy mainly because of the prices and tacky atmosphere.
go somewhere local and save your money.
