Prague here we come.

We are going to prague 1-4 oct, we are a group of eight norwegian guys.

This is a anual thing an it`s our 10`nt time.

If anyone else are there at that time, post a reply and we can se if we meet in prague.

This year we are dooing paintball and brewery tripp to pilsen.

you will love Plzen ,there is a great resturant in the Brewery Itself,so try and have a meal there.

if you have time you could try some other bars there.

oooh excellent, we should be arriving in Prague around 4pm. Will have to check out where this bar is. There is only 2 of us, male and female friends. but have heard great reviews on Joe%26#39;s bar ;o) . Do you have any info on the brewery trip by any chance? ;o) x

this will give info on getting to the Brewery from the train station,though since I wrote this I visited a few months ago they have built a bloody big hotel just where the footbridge over to the brewery is.

if you head for the Hotel (Huge white building called ANGELOor some thing like that )and follow the path round the left hand side of the building it will get you there.

hey they know how to charge for that tour.

I was there in May ,train to and from Prague,brewery tour,big meal at the resturant with a couple of beers a trip to another pub and then home for less than 600czk.i suppose going in a group as you are it does save a lot of hassle but that lack of hassle is costing about 1000czk per head.

I have been to Plzen 4 times now over several years and I doubt i have spent more that 2000czk for the 4 trips.

When you travel in a large group its easy to do it this way, they pick you up and you get there by car you got a guide all the way and you get home again without having to think about train tables or stuff like that, its easy and ok.

And I know its a little bit more expensive, but its 65e and in Norway you would pay that for just the meal and a beer. If you are by your self I understand. But in a large group it’s easier that way.

yes I understand that and I would probably do it that way if in a large group.I have just posted that info really for others that may be thinking of going to Plzen and may be put off by the cost of an organised tour.

I am well aware of prices in Norway.I visited Kristiansand a few year back for a long weekend and was shocked at the cost of a night out,for the price of a beer there we could get a round of drinks in Edinburgh.

I think you will be able to get a round of drinks in Pragiue for your whole group for the cost of one at home.
