The tap water is certainly OK to drink in Prague and in the Czech Republic as a whole.

In several restaurants that I went to (in Prague), they said they weren%26#39;t allowed to give glasses of tap water. It was annoying.

jakav, get off his neck. He just asked a question about water..
nysingle that is because they want to sell the bottled water

In some countries, i.e. Belgium, it is just not the done thing to serve tap water in restaurants. If you want water, you must buy it.

My g/daughter only drinks tap water and UK restaurants have always served it to me no question..
In Prague i used tap water for tea/coffee, but of course that was boiled, but would have drank tap water if needed to :-)
