It has been recommended by DE%26#39;s to be on one of the bridges at NYE%26#39;s night to enjoy the firework show. Not on the Charles Bridge though, that would be too crowded. If you do a text box search here I%26#39;m sure you will find lots of threads concerning this topic in the past. I have not travelled to Prague in the periode yet. Maybe one day.

the best places to watch firework are Letna, Manesuv Bridge or Riegrovy Sady.

thanks for your information!

If you went in Prague on this time of the year, how is the weather? they have a good celebration on this night? In your concern it is better have a dinner at the hotel and than go outside to celebration and fireworks or take a dinner in one restaurant?

thanks

The fireworks actually take place on 1st of January (I think), commences at about 6 - 7 o%26#39;clock. Hence your New Year%26#39;s dinner (on 31st) will not be affected!

The weather is likely to be very cold, if you are lucky maybe some snow, but hopefully the weather will be dry and crispy.
