Airport Transfers

Could anyone advise us on the best form of transport from the airport to the charles hotel at charles bridge and approx cost

the best would of course be a taxi - the cost approximately £20 (circa 600Kc)

Alternatively a public transport would cost £1 per person (26Kc)

What would you prefer?

public transport, is that by bus? do u know which number?

bus 119 to Dejvicka (terminal stop), then 2 stops by metro to Malostranska, then 10 minutes walk.

Click on the Charles Hotel and the right bottom is the map of the hotel area, a bit above the hotel is M for Malostranske metro stop - follow the road to your hotel.

thanks very much for that

Remember to buy your ticket from the desk at the airport next to the exit; you buy one ticket that allows you to change from bus to train (can%26#39;t remember what it%26#39;s called, but they%26#39;ll keep you right at the desk). Also, if you plan to use any of the transport in the city (tram, bus, metro etc.) it is not easy to find places (tabacs) to buy tickets, so buy some extra at the airport.

thanks very much we%26#39;ll do that

So is the 119 bus the only way to get from the airport to the city center? Is it easy to find in the airport?

Also, will a 3-day tourist public transit pass cover the 119 bus and metro?

3 day ticket is not worth buying unless you have children with you. Buy one day tickets instead and save few crowns. The pass is valid for bus 119 ( and other city buses) and metro.
