Wine Question

Going to be in Prague in late November and I am not a big beer drinker . I%26#39;d like to try some good local wine. I like Pinot Noir, Chardonney , Reisling and Sparkling wines best, but will try anything that is not too heavy/oaky.

What is the best local/regional wines and how much can I expect to pay per bottle in a resturant/bar or in a super market ?

Thanks!

Most wines actually come from Moravia. Check: http://moravske-vino.cz/

You may have to use Google translate, but it gives you a good idea...

This website gives you the regions, classification, etc.

Use Google translate.

Personally, I prefer Moravian wines; perhaps wine-tasting tour might be something you may want to try - if you have time....

http://www.radio.cz/en/article/111734 - if you like sparkling wine %26#39;cheap champ%26#39; try Bohemia Sekt - costs about £5 in the shops, but of course much more in restaurants.
