For the short tour the price seems to be CZK250 for an individual but CZK300 for a whole family of up to 2 adults and 5 children.
So, if there are just two of us,adults with no children should we still buy a family ticket. Seems crazy pricing to me!

Go for it! - although you might find that they will look for proof of kids in tow when checking/purchasing the tickets...
In the bad old days of dual pricing (i.e. much higher prices for non-Czech residents), I tried to buy tickets for some visiting friends at the resident%26#39;s price, but they weren%26#39;t having it. They let me have one, but the others had to pay the %26#39;foreigner%26#39;s price%26#39;.

Well, in bad old days, it was not proof of residency but whether you could ask for the ticket in Czech....As long as your non-Cz. speaking were quiet, it worked. I tried it in Frydlant, Jindr. Hradec, Letovice Castle %26amp; others...

I tried that - I gave them strict instructions to keep absolutely silent, but they sniffed them out ... :)
