Are small leather goods such as bags, purses, clutches and gloves cheap in Prague? I can´t find any information on the Internet concerning these goods :)
I have been told that I should stay away from the %26quot;yellow%26quot; market - why is that?

I think you%26#39;ll find all sorts of prices, from quite cheap to stupidly expensive. It depends on what you want in terms of quality, design and brand.
My advice, check prices for those goods at home before you leave and then see what you find here in Prague. If they are cheaper, you buy some, otherwise, you buy it at home.

I%26#39;ve never heard of it referred to as such, but the %26#39;yellow%26#39; market probably means the numerous Vietnamese stalls - sure it is cheap, but don%26#39;t expect anything that is top quality.
What you should stay clear of, though, is the mafia market, i.e. most of the tacky souvenir shops, especially down Karlova, etc.

There are a few shoe shops on Narodni Trida that sell cheaper shoes and theres also Tesco ,most of the other shoe shops and there are many are quite expensive,There is a nice bag and luggage shop on Ríjna .

Yellow market is very derogotary term for small Vietnamese vendors. I don%26#39;t think it should be used here or anywhere else....
Purses, leather goods: the best ones I found a few years ago were in:
Liberec %26amp; small place Czech/Moravian border called Hlinsko v Cechach.
But you get what you pay for....
