Sedlec Ossuary

Hi,

Does anyone know how to get from Andels hotel to Kutna Hora (Sedlec Ossuary) by public transit?

Thanks

Brian

Metro from Andel to Hlavni nadrazi (central railway station) with a change at Florenc, then by train (circa 1 hour and about 100Kc per a single ticket)

have a look at this link for some info on how to get to the bone Church from the train station in Kutna Hora,it really is very easy.

Kutna hora itself is a lovely little town and there is plenty to see and do to fill a whole day if you wish, some good bars too with prices a good deal cheaper than Prague.I have visited there twice in the last 3 years and enjoyed it very much both times.

this is a report from march 2006 ,most of the info is still relevant and there is a bit about my trip to Kutna hora and the Bone church, there are also several pics of the place in My Pictures ,some taken in late winter over three years ago some in early summer last year.

I agree with UncleGus about Kutna Hora -- I wish we could have stayed longer. I was only there on a day trip, and it%26#39;s a pretty town. On the other hand, if you%26#39;re willing to rush through it, all the sights can pretty much be seen in a day trip.

The Ossuary is on the outskirts of town and is small (but still a don%26#39;t-miss!). The Santa Barbara gothic cathedral has some scaffolding on the outside, but if you%26#39;re creative you can get photos that don%26#39;t show it. :-) We were there a week ago.

Italian court (old mint) is also worth a tour. I think our guide%26#39;s name was Susan and she was good.
