Klementinum Concert tickets

I am tempted to pre-book tickets for a tour and concert for a forthcoming trip in November. Prague Experience website is charging 750czk + 85czk each ticket. Can anyone tell me please whther this is reasonable or would I be better off buying the tickets when I am there? Thanks.

check this website for the concert tickets and compare the prices!

Thank you for this. I%26#39;ve checked- they do seem cheaper but unfortunately they don%26#39;t have the particular concert I want!

which concert are you after, perhaps we could try different websites

It%26#39;s the George Gerswhin Rhapsody in Blue concert on 27/11/09 and the pre-concert tour of the Klementinum.

We did that at the beginning of the month. It turned out to be a mixture of numbers including music from Rhapsody. It was a brass quartet. We enjoyed it but I think it is overpriced for what it is. The tour was interesting. It included climbing up a tower for a view.

Mmm, interesting. I can%26#39;t quite imagine Rhapsody in Blue performed by a brass quartet! Perhaps we should do the tour only. How long did the concert last? I need to justify £30 odd pounds per ticket. The website recommended doesn%26#39;t include the tour unfortunately.

What the previous poster describes does not sound like the same concert.

We expected Rhapsody in Blue. We got one number plus other songs. It was definitely a brass quartet.

The tour was not exciting. We saw a magnificent library, a few old time devices and climbed the tower for a view.

Not worth the money!

We should have booked way in advance to get good seats for Da Giovanni.

We also saw a concert at the Spanish Synagogue. (Did I mention that before?) The venue is GORGEOUS. It was also a quartet plus a singer. The night we were there, they played American favorites (including Rhapsody (!), West Side Story, plus Yiddish songs.

People are selling tickets to everything in the streets.

There is also a concert hall that I didn%26#39;t know about prior to going. There you can see and hear a full orchestra.

Whatever you choose, you will enjoy. Prague is delightful.
