Hello,
I%26#39;ll be making my 5th trip to Prague shortly. Since I%26#39;ve been there before, I%26#39;ve done most of the usual tourist activities (Old Town, Petrin Hill, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, etc) and wandered around most of the centre many times. I%26#39;m looking for some places more off the beaten path so to speak. Any suggestions that is no so common that may be interesting to visit? Unfortunately I will be alone this time and will not have my colleagues at the local office to take me around, so any place too off the beaten path where language is an issue might be a problem. I%26#39;m also thinking of perhaps some excursions to Karlovy Vary and other areas outside Prague but I%26#39;m more of a type that likes to stay in the urban centres. I%26#39;m also thinking trips out to Brno and Plzen.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks!

Thanks for the tips! The bone church looks quite fascinating. I%26#39;ve put that on the %26quot;TO DO%26quot; list.
I have visited the Museum of Communism before. And I agree that it was well worth the visit as I found it interesting. The video footage of the Velvet Revolution was quite moving.

For Brno you will need a couple of days at least (the longer the better - 18 years later and I still haven%26#39;t seen everything) - plenty to see in and around the city, and no need to worry about English - it is widely spoken.

I enjoy visiting cemetaries (for photo ops) and I enjoy the one at FLORA metro station. I was just there yesterday with a visiting friend. (adjacent to the mall). It is amazing how quite/ peaceful it is given that it is in the center of the city.. Truly amazing, there are over a million plots. This is one of my favorite places to visit in PRG.
