prague to kutna hora via train

We are going to take a day trip to Kutna Hora from Prague via Train. The train from Prague doesn%26#39;t take you directly into Kutna Hora itself. Is there another connection, bus or taxis worth while?

Worried we are going to get lost now lol.

there is a local train that takes you into the main part of the town but if you are going to the Bone Church in Sedlac it is less than a 10 minute walk from the main train station,the town is then about another 2 kilometer from the Bone Church,it is an easy straight walk but there are local buses or even taxis.I have done the walk a couple of times and it takes les than 30 minutes from the Bone Church.

Yes doing Bone church also, so will take your advice and walk it. Got everything mapped out so we%26#39;ll know the way (main road leads the way it seems). Just looked awkward getting from main station drop off direct to Kutna Hora central via train. Plus the Bone church was next to another station too. Maybe I was just being lazy.

Got train times sorted for Friday.

But puzzled why the train from Praha hl.n has a metro icon next to it which states tranfer to the underground?!?!?

For the local buses can you pay for the ticket after getting on the bus?

|||

there is a metro station at Hlavni as well as it being a main train station.

I have not used the buses in Kutna Hora as i prefer to walk..

|||

you always pay the driver on the local buses, make sure you have enough small change and know which stop you want :)

Thanks for the replies so far. Greatly appreciated.

Just can%26#39;t understand why the icon next to Praha hl.n means %26#39;transfer to underground%26#39; other than stating access to underground is there. Not like I%26#39;m going to get the train there is it.

Booked and pay for train tickets fairly easily via: https://eshop.cd.cz

Found times here: jizdnirady.idnes.cz/vlakyautobusy/spojeni/

it just means that there is a metro station within the location, nothing else, just information.

|||

cheers. i%26#39;m a worrier so had to check :)

|||

And all the train tickets can be bought easily on the day at the station - there is no need to reserve, either.

If there are more than one of you don%26#39;t forget to get a group discount!

Just read it again - it seems that you have already bought them, so have a nice day out!
