Train from prague to budapest

Hi All

Im looking at a trip across europe next july and will be stopping in the czech republic and wanted to know if i could catch a train from prague to budapest and if i%26#39;d have to book in advance or just turn up on the day , how long the journey would take and how much it might cost ,can anyone help?

You posted on a number of forums as regards your train enqueries, the German railways website will give you all the connections you require, except prices.

the current price Prague to Budapest is 29 euros if bough on the eshop,

whether the same price will be offered next year who knows.

Current fare for Prague-Budapest with CD e-ticket is 19 euro ;)

Regular ticket purchased before departure will be much more expensive (around 55 euro)
